The aim of this project is to build a prototype for eyes free music composition. It involves placement of various sensors on the body and generating music by sensing the interactions.
The system is comprised of force-sensitive resistors, an Arduino Uno and laptop for processing incoming sensor data and output. This system helps people compose music on-the-go without requiring them to invest a lot of attention. It can be used as an entry level learning tool to compose and play music or as interactive entertainment on-the-go. We detail the construction and implementation of our system prototype and explore different possible interactions and inter-device communication methods.
